Company story
From affordable housing to a broad Gauteng building portfolio.
2000
Pentagon Projects is established, initially specialising in affordable housing.
2004
The company moves into medium-to-higher-income housing and commercial construction/revamps.
2008
Pentagon begins taking on multiple small office-building contracts and broadens its commercial work.
2011
The company is awarded its first large office development.
Today
The published portfolio spans residential, commercial, warehousing and specialised building work across Gauteng and beyond.

Christo Swart
Building science to business ownership.
Christo completed a National Diploma in Building Science in 1999 after studies at Pretoria Technicon. His early roles included project management, client and contractor liaison, quality control and plan approvals before co-founding Pentagon Projects with William Lambden in 2000.
William Lambden
Site experience from the start.
William studied Building Science at Pretoria Technicon while gaining site-foreman and junior project-management experience. He received his National Diploma in 1999 and co-founded Pentagon Projects with Christo Swart in 2000.
